Father used to beat me for playing, mother borrowed ₹ 1000 to go to the tournament: Rinku Singh

Indian batsman Rinku Singh has said in an interview, "Papa used to beat me a lot for playing (cricket) but mother used to support me." He said, "When I went to Kanpur (UP) for the first time to play a hostel tournament... my mother borrowed ₹ 1,000 from the neighboring shop and gave me ₹ 1,000." According to Rinku, her father used to ask her to study.
