Jio Cinema may merge with Hotstar after Reliance and Disney's deal: Report

Reliance Industries may reportedly merge Jio Cinema with Disney+Hotstar after the merger of Star India and Viacom 18. This merger will create an OTT platform which will reduce the company's costs and provide tough competition to platforms like YouTube, Netflix and Prime Video. The Star-Viacom entity will be valued at ₹70,352-crore after the merger.
