UP farmer is earning ₹4 lakh annually by cultivating banana at a cost of ₹25,000
Farmer Sangram Singh of Barabanki (UP) has been cultivating G-9 banana since 2016 and gets a profit of ₹ 3-4 lakh every year. It costs ₹20,000-25,000 to cultivate one bigha of land and once cultivated, the crop is produced for 2 years. The price of banana plant is ₹16-18.
