Bangladesh team defeated Scotland by 16 runs in the first match of the Women's T20 World Cup 2024. Bangladesh batted first and scored 119/7 in 20 overs, in response to which Scotland, chasing the target of 120 runs, could score only 103 runs after losing 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
